Closer games as the tournament unfolds.
Mexicano is a doubles format that rebuilds every new round from the live standings. ClubOps Compete: Mexicano handles the ranking, pairings, courts and byes so the organiser can concentrate on the event.
Round one is open. Every round after that is earned.
Players score individually and are regrouped according to what has actually happened on court.
Mexicano begins without seeds or pre-tournament rankings. The opening round is shuffled, every player receives their pair's score, and the individual table begins to take shape.
From round two onward, players are ranked by cumulative points and placed into bands of four. Inside each band, first partners fourth and second partners third. That creates balanced teams while keeping each court close to the same current level.
Because the draw is rebuilt from live results, an early mismatch does not have to repeat all afternoon. Strong performers move towards one another, developing players find more suitable games, and the tournament becomes tighter as it progresses.
CO-C:Mexicano runs the live tournament mathematics for you.
The interface follows the same familiar Help, Setup, Roster, Round, Table and Insights journey as the rest of ClubOps Compete apps.
No pre-tournament ranking
Begin with an open draw and let the results create the ranking quietly in the background.
Fair bye rotation
Byes go to players who have sat out least, with fair random tie-breaking.
Flexible divisions
Run one open pool or separate colour-coded divisions (e.g. by gender) with their own standings and Insights.
Courts allocated dynamically
Available courts are shared between divisions according to who is behind on average games played.
Partner and opponent Insights
See how much variety the scheduler has produced, with matrices generated separately for each division.
Local state and backups
The working tournament stays in the browser and can be exported to a JSON backup whenever required.
