Players win games. Clubs win the cup.
Team Cup turns a group of club squads into a one-day doubles competition. Captains take turn to nominate players for each fixture. Results are recorded court by court and every win contributes directly to the club standings.
Each game is worth one club point. Point difference breaks ties.
A team competition without losing the flexibility of individual nominations.
Clubs enter squads rather than fixed pairs. The organiser chooses who represents each club in each scheduled game.
Team Cup generates the club-versus-club fixture plan across the available courts and, where required, across several divisions. The fixture is fixed, but the players representing each club can be nominated on the day.
That distinction matters. A club can use its squad intelligently, spread appearances across players and respond to availability without rebuilding the competition. Optional captains can oversee nominations and normally remain outside the playing pool unless the administrator deliberately overrides the rule.
Once a game finishes, its result contributes to the club rather than an individual leaderboard. The table ranks clubs by total points, then point difference, while division totals show where each club earned its results.
The structure of a cup competition, without a day of spreadsheet administration.
The interface follows the same Help, Setup, Roster, Round, Table and Insights journey as the other ClubOps Compete products.
Two to eight clubs
Enter the team name and apply an optional club colour that follows its players through the event.
Optional divisions
Run without divisions or separate the competition into several playing levels or genders under one club table.
Balanced pick order
ABBA nominations alternate first- and last-pick advantage rather than letting one club always choose twice in succession.
Fairness warnings
Eligibility checks flag captains, repeated appearances and players who are ahead of team-mates, with reasoned admin overrides when reality demands one.
Live club table
Total points, division points, game wins and point difference update as soon as scores are entered.
Participation insights
Review projected player slots before the event and assigned versus completed appearances during play.
Individual formats ask who played best. Team Cup asks which club performed together.
